Calling all foodies! If you like meeting new people and love your grub, then we might have found the perfect night out for you. Nibblr is a brand new social networking and dining experience – just sign up to their website, pick a meal at a restaurant you like the sound of, then pop along on the night to meet new people and chat over some tasty dishes.
We headed to the Embassy in London’s Mayfair for a £25 three-course feast. You get to pick from a set menu designed by your chosen restaurant, with a glass of wine or two if you fancy, although that’s not included. We gobbled up a refreshing Burrata (a soft Italian cheese) and organic tomato salad, baby roast chicken with polenta puree and a delicious caramelized pear tart.
The official Nibblr evening lasts for two hours, but our table – a mixed bunch of boys and girls – hung around gossiping into the night as the Embassy turned into its nightclub alter ego.
Nibblr isn’t a dating site, but there’s every chance you may find true love over the bread basket (if there are singles at your table) or failing that some new friends or some interesting memories! Nibblr hosts evenings in London at the moment, but is set to spread to a host of other cities including Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Leeds soon. Find out more at Nibblr.co.uk
